KINETIC SAND® is a registered trademark owned by Spin Master Ltd. As such, it is a brand name and proper use of the KINETIC SAND® trademark is essential to protect it. Learn more about the correct use of our trademark.

Facts

Spin Master currently owns over 40 trademarks worldwide protecting the KINETIC SAND® brand. These trademark rights also extend to translations of the mark, to the extent that the translations are confusingly similar to our trademark.
Our trademark is sometimes used incorrectly by others as the generic name for play sand, and we work hard to prevent this. Spin Master devotes substantial resources to defending the distinctiveness and recognition of this brand name.
The KINETIC SAND® brand and products were entirely novel at the time of introduction in 2012, and its success is the result of over a decade of investment and marketing by Spin Master.
The KINETIC SAND® trademark is an important part of our brand identity and provides consumers with a guarantee that when you buy Spin Master’s KINETIC SAND® play sand, you are getting a high-quality product.
In addition to trademarks, Spin Master holds other forms of protection for its KINETIC SAND® brand, which it is committed to protect against unauthorized use.

Trademark Guidelines

The KINETIC SAND® trademark can only be used in connection with original KINETIC SAND® brand products manufactured or licensed by Spin Master, and it should never be translated.
It is prohibited to use the KINETIC SAND® trademark, including any variations of the spelling, when referring to third-party products. This means that if you are describing, advertising or selling a third-party product, you must use a generic term, such as ‘play sand’, ‘magic sand’ or ‘moldable sand’ and NOT ‘Kinetic Sand’.
The KINETIC SAND® trademark must always be used with the registration symbol® if used in connection with play sand and related products.
Always add the following trademark notice when using the KINETIC SAND® trademark with Spin Master’s prior permission:
